Worst store experience I have ever had, called the store inquiring about a strat and told the guy I would be traveling over an hour to the store. He told me to give him my number and he would check stock and would give me a call back. 2.5 hours later no call and I show up at the store to find out that the guitar I had called about is not only not in stock (website stated they had some) in any of the colors I asked about but that "Manager" said he could call Natick store to see if they had one. Natick is 35 mins away and I had already called the store and they said they don't have it. As i was leaving the store in anger the manager said he could ship the guitar to my house for free. What a clown doing me a favor to ship a guitar for free when their website offers free shipping anyway! Both the manager and the employee should lose their jobs.
Pretty happy going here
The staff are not friendly, especially that guy in the back by the lighting and speaker department. The product that they sell here however is all really good and reasonably priced however one of the lights I got stopped working after a few uses and I was not happy at all, the guy told me I should've gotten the protection plan and was extremely rude to me
I was visiting the area from Chicago. I had purchased a used Strat several days earlier and I was looking for a very, very time Allen key to adjust the saddles. These particular saddles had an uncommonly small screw. Nate, the kind gentleman that introduced himself began to seek this particular sized key. He found it after painstakingly searching for an extended time. He helped me with the alignment of the saddles. He was an incredible help to me, as he was very patient with my novice skills, and spent a good deal of his time mentoring me on the intricacies of the Stratocaster. Guitar Center has a gem in Nate.
Not sure why people are saying the customer service is bad. I've been going to this guitar center location ever since they opened. They have a huge selection of new and used equipment. Recently bought 2 guitars from them and they were very patient with me and all my questions. First I got a beautiful Taylor then more recently a Gibson. The staff was very informative, and friendly. They even took time to show me how some of the equipment worked, Lee was the one who helped me with my purchase. Was a very satisfying experience and will definitely be returning. 5/5 I'd give them more if I could
Decent selection, staff seemed reasonably knowledgeable and there weren't any pushy sales people trying to upsell me to things I just don't need.
